Blithe Spirit

Winner of the 2009 Drama Desk Award, Outstanding Revival. A fussy, cantankerous novelist has re-married but is haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, who is called up by a visiting "happy medium". As the personalities clash, his current wife is accidentally killed, "passes over," and joins the first as the two "blithe spirits" haunt their hapless husband into perpetuity.
