Stronger managers. Smoother teams. Better business.
In Mammoth, the off-season gives us a chance to reset, regroup, and get ready for what’s next. It’s also the perfect time to invest in the people who keep your business running every day — your managers.
Across our local business community, owners often share the same experience: a strong employee gets promoted, but suddenly they’re unsure what managing a team looks like day-to-day — no one ever showed them how.
Leading former coworkers. Running meetings. Setting expectations. Giving feedback. Building trust. These skills don’t come automatically, and this course will address these challenges and more.
This spring, the Mammoth Lakes Chamber is launching a three-part leadership and manager course designed to help new and emerging managers step confidently into their role and help businesses build stronger, more effective teams before the next busy season.
Give your managers more than a break this off-season — give them the confidence and skills to lead. The goal is simple: make management something people feel prepared for and proud of.
Built Around a Proven Leadership Guide
The program is based on The Making of a Manager by Julie Zhuo — a practical, easy-to-read guide for modern managers. Course participants will read selected chapters between sessions and apply what they learn in real workplace situations.
Each participant will receive a free copy of the book (yours to keep).
