DESCRIPTION:Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Virtual Community Coffee on Thursday\, August 26 from 8-9 am. \n\n \n\nThis month the topic is housing. We will provide a holistic view of the efforts from agencies around town that are being put into improving the workforce housing issue.\n\n \n\nOur main speaker will be Patricia Robertson\, Executive Director for Mammoth Lakes Housing\, who will provide a presentation on the Access Apartments project. Located on 283 Sierra Manor Road\, this shovel-ready project would create 11 one-bedroom apartments for the local community.\n\n \n\nAdditionally\, the Chamber of Commerce will provide an update on their new Workforce Housing Coordinator and their Workforce Housing Program.\n\n \n\nFinally\, representatives from the Town of Mammoth Lakes as well as the MLT Board will provide updates on how these agencies are contributing to improving housing conditions for our community.\n\n \n\nThis month we are excited to welcome Mammoth Coffee Roasting Company to our list of partner coffee shops. The store is now open at 436 Old Mammoth Road. Additionally\, partners Black Velvet\, The Looney Bean\, Stellar Brew and Starbucks on Main Street are still on the list\, giving you more shops to choose from than ever before. Just head to one of those shops before noon on August 26 to cash in and drink up! Please choose ONE coffee shop.\n\n\n\nWe will also be giving away a trivia prize to one lucky attendee.\n\n \n\nWe can't wait to start the morning with you!
