Mammoth Lakes Tourism and the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Virtual Community Coffee on Thursday, April 29 from 8-9 am.
This month’s speaker will be Paul McFarland, Program Officer for DeChambeau Creek Foundation (dechambeaucreek.org). Paul has been helping to spearhead the regional effort to get ahead of dispersed camping issues for the upcoming summer. His presentation is titled, “Eastern Sierra Dispersed Camping Collaboration - building collective engagement for collaborative action this summer.” Additionally, Joel Rathje, Trails Manager for the Town of Mammoth Lakes will present the latest on the Community Host Program.
As usual, we have partnered with local coffee shops Black Velvet, The Looney Bean, Stellar Brew and Starbucks on Main Street to allow you to still indulge in a coffee on us. Just head to one of those shops before noon on April 29 to cash in and drink up! Please choose ONE coffee shop.
To join the Community Coffee conversation, simply log on with the Zoom link below on April 29 at 8 am. This event will be held webinar-style.
We will also be giving away a trivia prize to one lucky attendee.
