Emerging Leaders Workshop

The Fort has partnered up with the Mammoth Lake Chamber of Commerce to reboot this event series and bridge the gap between the remote working and local business communities.
A new partnership means we needed a new name for the workshop series, which we are calling “Emerging Leaders Workshops,” the goal being to provide opportunities to network and grow your professional skill sets with members of both the Fort and Chamber of Commerce communities.

Our first session will be “The Publishing Landscape in 2019,” a discussion on the digital, print, and literary publishing worlds.

Whether you are wanting to publish an article as an expert in your field or looking to get a book deal, our guest hosts Lara Kaylor and Charlotte Kaufman will be able to provide insight and feedback, from marketing yourself and networking, to working with different editors and what platforms are best for writers.

Along with the inspiring crowd, we'll have beer from Black Doubt, treats from Stellar Brew.
