Hay Blackbird LIVE on 4th of July!
Howie Schwartz and Ray Finch created the idea for Hay Blackbird in 2021 after a couple of decades of playing Bluegrass and Old-Time music around eastern California. Hay Blackbird covers the broad genre of string band music from the mid-1800s to the present. Although Hay Blackbird’s interpretation and delivery of Old-Time music may be more progressive than some, it still reflects their deep respect for the roots.
